Those of you who are avid readers, know I believe in Solutions vs. Resolutions. We have offered our solutions programs for several years now! Â What is the difference you ask?
Solution  is an answer to a challenge.
Resolution is a declaration of a statement.
Although it is GREAT to send out your message i.e., “I AM going to lose weight”, it is important to do more than that to get the job done!
The NY times has reported most resolutions cease by the end January. Why? Because resolutions create way too much pressure and we cave in.  I see so many women come through my studio or at events that have the interest to change but they stop there.
Let us look at the word interest – A sense of concern of curiosity about something.
YOU NEED MORE THAN INTEREST for RESOLUTIONS TO SUCCEED!!
So, I ask you. Where are you on the lifestyle change scale?:
#1 INTEREST (great to declare )
#2 ACTION** Â This is key. Action is to get something DONE. Â Movement. This speaks volumes in reaching your goals! Little actions pay way for huge success!
#3 DRIVE is pivotal to one’s success! Â Drive is the EFFORT to achieve something. Freely causing action to occur. *** Now ask, do you have enough internal drive to get you to your goal or do you need external drive i.e., a coach to guide you?? Be honest with yourself.
Look at each step as a goal.
Interest: I want to lose 20 pounds
Action: My goal is to lose 2 pounds a week by walking, choosing healthier foods and resistance training.
Drive: I know I need a coach (external drive) to hold me accountable.
Now, which program suits your needs?:
#1 I thrive on a group environment. I push myself harder around others – A gym environment is perfect for you.
#2 I like privacy. However, I don’t have the strength to hold myself accountable. Â A personal trainer or our virtual training will aid you in reaching your goals.
#3 I like privacy. I enjoy my “internal time” when working out and I have the inner drive to succeed. Our home gym guidance will work best for you.
So in your quest for seeking better health, I encourage you to ask yourself, where am I on the “Scale of change” and a program style that meets my needs. Can you make a chart with the words Interest/Action drive?
